Event Inspiration: Blue, Teal, and Burlap

For all of you who love blue, teal, wildflowers, burlap, and mason jars and would like to incorporate those into your wedding or event, this one is for you! A little inspiration for those busily planning their big day:

First Impressions Designs: Teal, Blue, and Burlap

These vintage-y save the dates and invitations, shown above in latte and poolside, are the perfect way to set the tone for your big day! And at $212 for 100, they won’t throw off your budget. This stationary style can then be pulled through into the event with table numbers, place cards, and menus.

Like burlap? Us too! It just has such a classic, yet trendy vibe. Signs, like the one above, can be personalized to say whatever you want in whatever color you want. They start at $20. Use burlap bags filled with miniature honey jays and dippers to show your guests just how sweet you think they are. The whole ensemble costs about $4.00. You could also use the burlap sack (about $1.00 each) to hold another gift, like candy, a votive candle, or wildflower seeds.

Wildflowers, mason jars, and candles really complete the charming, cozy feel of such an event, while teal icing on cupcakes or a cake add a pop of fun color and help tie everything together.

  1. I love this combination of colors and materials! And the burlap makes everything look a little organic/homemade, but it’s still somehow elegant. Can you make the signs say anything?

    • Hey Samantha! I can make the signs say anything! If it is multiple words they can be separate, inked together or tiered. Some ideas are people’s names, “just married,” signs designating the “ceremony” or “reception” location.
